MITER is a 7-year (plus options) £240 million vehicle capability contract for the UK Ministry of Defence (UK MOD).

AmeyBriggs (AB) is the MITER prime contractor with responsibility to maintain, manage and assure a c.4,000 fleet of construction and material handling equipment.

AB’s partner, TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), designs and manages large and complex supply chains across multiple industries in global markets and is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain in this contract.

TVS SCS and AB have collaborated to design and deliver the optimal end-to- end supply chain solution supported by a leading information system that underpins the complex MITER fleet of equipment.

It provides over 95% availability across c.90,000 parts for legacy, as well as new equipment, with delivery to UK and global bases.

The MITER capability is a key Defence enabler as it underpins both peacetime activities, and defence deployments and operations around the world.

It will save the UK taxpayer £136 million over 10 years and sustain jobs across the UK.
