FSEW
FSEW is proud to lead the sector with its commitment to low-carbon freight forwarding.
Using innovation and technical excellence, it has shown that electric and CNG trucks are commercially viable and an important part of its sustainable supply chain management strategy.
Cutting emissions of carbon dioxide remains the greatest medium- to long-term challenge facing road transport.
Since March 2022 it has saved 1027.84 Tco2e (metric tonnes in carbon dioxide equivalent) and removed 720,665 of diesel road miles.
It is on track to meet its long-term vision of replacing all its diesel trucks by the end of December 2024, moving its 50+ fleet to a mix of 50% electric and 50% CNG trucks.
To date the fleet currently has two electric 4x2 and 20 CNG (mix of 6x2 and 4x2).
FSEW is constantly looking into the future with autonomous being an option.
The company is working with big brand names to show BEV and CNG vehicles work successfully.
With Tesco, FSEW was the first to launch the UK’s first commercial electric articulated HGVs and with Blackwood Engineering, Eurocald Group, and Rockwool, it continues to break boundaries by deploying EV and CNG vehicles on the UK's roads.
