Our trailblazing innovation team at Octopus Energy Services are delivering improvements for the energy industry and logistics sectors at a scale and pace that’s not been seen before.

We’re now the UK’s largest installer of heat pumps as a result of our industry-leading supply chain and logistics strategy and are rolling out this blueprint across our European subsidiaries. With industry infrastructure built around polluting gas boilers, our ambition was to create a low cost to serve warehousing and logistics operation tailored to low carbon technologies that would support the launch and growth of our heat pump, solar panel and EV charger installation business whilst delivering significant benefits for customers, installers and suppliers. Our unique vertically integrated model seamlessly handles everything from sourcing components to delivering complete installation packs directly to customers’ homes.

It is now replicated across three multipurpose sites which house full-size carbon-neutral homes, providing hands-on installation experience for our apprentice and trainee engineers. We expect to handle over 7 million components by year-end and consistently achieve a 5-star Trustpilot rating with customer feedback such as “Octopus are great!
