The SoftBank Robotics tray delivery robots work in collaboration with front- and back-of-house teams to streamline operations, alleviate labour shortages, improve team productivity, provide a better customer experience, and offer a cost-effective solution.

Compass Group’s UK & Ireland head office is on a mission to implement digital technology and innovative solutions that help support frontline teams and meet the needs of clients and end users.

In a four-week pilot, Compass Group used SoftBank Robotics Keenbots to deliver food in the on-site restaurants and across other parts of the building.

This included providing meals to tables, taking away empty plates, and using sound and voice features to enhance customer engagement.

Due to the success of the trial and the metrics collected, including hours of operator’s time saved increased customer satisfaction and service times, Compass Group has deployed robots throughout its Global HQ restaurants and to serve conference rooms.

In addition, it has expanded its cobotic service robotics solution to several large clients.
