Nicholls Transport - EH Nicholls Jnr Ltd are a family run business based in Sittingbourne in Kent who are committed to being Green.

Having invested in 42 LNG trucks running on Biomethane and in the period July 2022 to December 2023 achieved up to 191% saving on GHG emissions, (information provided by the Zemo Partnership on quarterly Renewable Fuel declarations) and also managed to avoid 3,914,763 kgs of CO2 being produced with its LNG trucks running on Biomethane.

This saving is on top of the Nicholls site in Sittingbourne producing 80% of the electricity it uses with photovoltaic cells installed on the roofs of it buildings, Harvesting the water that falls on its site for its truckwash and its beehives it has onsite and there award winning honey.

Recently Nicholls were audited for the first time by ecovadis because they wanted to have an independent audit to show they were doing what they said they were doing.

The results put Nicholls in the top 35% of all companies audited and only 4 points from a silver medal award.

It also showed that in the transport by road category Nicholls were performing way above average in all fields.
