Innovative Vision Zero Tools

Many highway authorities are planning their strategies for ’Vision Zero’.

This means that they are committing to reducing fatal and severe casualties on their roads to zero using an all-encompassing ‘Safe System’ approach: safe streets, speeds, vehicles and behaviors, as well as post-collision response.

Our innovative project helps make efficient decisions both at a strategic level and at scheme selection, using data analytics to make choices that most reduce the number of killed and seriously injured (KSI) on our roads.

Our team has created - in collaboration with our clients and key stakeholders - a range of interlinked Vision Zero tools for strategic decision makers and transport professionals.

These are built using Microsoft products (SQL Server, Power BI, Visual Basic and Excel) so they can be widely applied and are accessible to all.
