DGL’s comprehensive support and expertise transformed the group’s operations, beginning when The Compleat Food Group operated as three separate divisions.

Key achievements include transitioning from road to sea freight, resulting in significant cost reductions and a 76% decrease in carbon emissions. DGL’s approach involved detailed site visits, supply chain audits, and bespoke solutions, addressing challenges like Brexit-related port delays and high transportation costs.

By leveraging sea freight’s economies of scale, DGL reduced rent and demurrage expenses. Peak period management was enhanced through better forecasting, planning, and additional chilled storage.
