In 2023, Delivery Mates rapidly expanded its micro hubs to meet the surging demand for urban logistics in cargo bike deliveries.

Offering both dedicated and multi-user service solutions, the company now delivers scalable and efficient urban delivery services.

A strategic focus has been to complement the existing on-demand cargo bike solutions with a next day delivery service, yielding substantial benefits like reduced emissions, minimised congestion, and lower last mile costs.

To facilitate next-day operations effectively, Delivery Mates proactively extended its micro hubs throughout London, building on the success of a successful pilot with a major e-retailer.

Agile property solutions were required, and initially used for seamless cross-docking operations.

These have evolved into multi-user warehouses providing same-day and next-day delivery services.

Presently, seven micro hubs have been established in London, with ambitious plans to launch five more within the city and expand operations to four additional cities.
