CMC Machinery UK Ltd was established in October 2021 to further develop the markets of the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries and to support the existing CMC customers in these areas.

Linney selected CMC Machinery UK Ltd to provide a new automated 3D right-sized automated packaging solution that would be fed via its new AutoStore™ ASRS solution.

Linney purchased the CMC Genesys solution, the world’s only Vary-Tote-inducted 3D right-sized solution capable of handling both single-line order and multi orders without any need to pre-consolidate.

The solution can produce 680 boxes per hour in real operational time.

Thanks to the innovative design of each box, there is no void fill, offering complete protection for the items contained within, and no tape, as each box is sealed with hot glue.

This solution will support Linney in its sustainability goals, as well as improving efficiencies and reducing carrier management costs, as each box will be right sized dependent on its contents.
