CitySprint has been working together with The Libraries Consortium since 2017.

The Libraries Consortium (TLC) is a group made up of 23 local authorities, 19 of which are London boroughs, that share a Library Management System.

In total the network consists of 321 libraries, offering 8.2 million local residents’ access to 7.3 million titles.

Through the partnership, CitySprint delivers a variety of services through a bespoke approach, tailored to each of the boroughs they work with.

The partnership has enabled a system where books can be moved around the boroughs, which enable other libraries to take advantage of all the member authorities’ stock and resources.

CitySprint has completed 3,175 deliveries for TLC in the past 12 months.

Through the partnership, CitySprint went above and beyond to keep the operations system running smoothly.

TLC has benefitted in a variety of ways, including through reduced administrative work and costs, boosted efficiencies, ad hoc support in relation to demand, designated account management to provide support, and a variety of vehicles for different services.

The drivers were a key component to the successful delivery of this framework contract and provided a reliable, effective, and friendly service across the TLC authorities.
