Since 2011, Seafast Logistics and Albea UK Ltd have operated in an exclusive partnership, with Seafast managing Albea’s full supply chain requirements.

This encapsulates national and international trucking, global seafreight and airfreight movements, customs clearance, day to day truck planning and warehouse liaison.

This is managed by client specific Seafast staff members who are focused solely on the Albea business, with these team members being fully available to work directly within Albea’s premises as need dictates. The strategic understanding and management of Albea’s business needs by Seafast has allowed Albea to focus on developing their core business and client base, and control costs, both budgeted and non-budgeted, while Seafast operates as Albea’s designated in-house logistics department.

Seafast, on behalf of Albea, seek continuous improvement initiatives to help control and minimise cost, and streamline all aspects of the supply chain. A period of un-interrupted service for the last 13 years has recently been underpinned by the signing of a further 2 year contract running until mid 2026, highlighting the on-going mutually beneficial relationship between both parties.
