As part of Lakeland’s omnichannel business strategy, our specialist Supply Chain team, based in Kendal, Cumbria, embarked on a 3 year Future Ready project in 2021.

This award application tells the story of the team’s 3 year journey across our warehousing and transport operations, within our retail supply chain.

This project included a major restructure, with a significant investment in new empowered roles, and succession planning & leadership development; leading to a more efficient operation and the resulting benefits for our omnichannel customers, colleagues, commercials and community.
