Ideally suited to handle today’s 3PL operational challenges and utilizing the latest innovative Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) technology, the Skypod® system delivers a fully scalable, future proofed automation solution which drives efficiency and sustainable operations to new levels. The Skypod system utilizes a high-density storage structure with totes containing items for customer order fulfilment, retrieved by a fleet of AMRs programmed to carry out order picking and replenishment tasks with exceptional levels of accuracy and efficiency. Through the installation at iForce, L-A-C is able to showcase how collaboration, technology innovation, and system integration expertise united to provide iForce with an exceptional automated order picking and replenishment solution, with the agility, flexibility and reliability they required to manage their expanding fulfilment services. Furthermore, the Skypod system works in parallel and in conjunction with other manual, robotic and automation technologies within the warehouse, providing iForce with synchronized and seamless operations leading to enhanced pick efficiency, accuracy and overall productivity.
