InstaVolt
Last year InstaVolt took the number one position as the UK’s largest EV charging network with the most rapid or ultra-rapid charging points, putting it ahead of Tesla and BP.
InstaVolt installed chargers at a faster rate than any other charge point operator in the first quarter of 2024, installing 128 at 44 sites across the country.
In April, InstaVolt opened a 14-charger superhub at the iconic Syon Park in West London.
Ideal for commuters and local drivers with speeds of up to 160kw, the superhub will provide vital support to a busy part of London and the growing number of EVs travelling daily through the capital. On 12th June, InstaVolt broke ground north of Winchester on the UK’s largest rapid-only superhub.
Located at Three Maids Hill just meters from the A34 junction near the M3, the hub will have 44 charging bays, including drive-through bays, as well as an on-site restaurant and children’s play area. This ambitious growth shows InstaVolt’s commitment to ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support the adoption of EVs in the UK.
InstaVolt also goes further and sources its electricity from 100% renewable energy sources, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable transportation system.
