Evri
Evri has gone through a period of unprecedented growth, so it’s never been more important to recognise its impact on the planet.
The company says it has been a responsible carrier but in the last year it continued to double down on its commitment to become an even more sustainable and ethical business.
It has launched an ambitious ESG strategy and appointed a team to steer this and embed ESG principles into its culture.
Evri has also expanded its Bio-CNG and electric-powered fleet, and achieved 100% renewable energy in its operations, as it moves towards its net zero emissions target of 2035.
2022 saw the opening of its most sustainable site to date (its flagship 55-acre ‘superhub’ in Barnsley) and the expansion of its estate of ParcelShops.
Served by zero-emission electric vans where possible, ParcelShops offer a carbon-efficient way for people to send, receive, and return parcels.
