CEVA Logistics is a global supply chain solutions provider that operates in over 160 countries and is committed to reducing its environmental impact with particular emphasis on significantly reducing its plastic packaging.

In 2022, CEVA Logistics partnered with its preferred packaging supplier for its UK operations, Kite Packaging, to challenge itself to achieve this target.

The net result of this project is that CEVA Logistics has been able to reduce its plastic pallet wrap by 43%.

The company has saved over 136 tonnes of plastic from entering the environment - the equivalent to over 11.2 million plastic bottles.

In addition to the reduction in plastics consumption, by using the latest, high-performance nano technology 67-layer stretch films (currently the lowest environmentally impacting in the market) a CO2 impact reduction of 312 tonnes per year has been delivered.

These results endorse CEVA Logistics’ commitment to sustainable packaging practices while delivering a more efficient and cost-effective packaging solution – an all-round success story.

The company has been able to achieve significant reductions in plastic consumption and CO2 emissions, while also improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of its packing operations.
