Baytree Nuneaton & Chetwoods
A recently completed BREEAM Outstanding rated building, Baytree Nuneaton, employed best-practice in environmental and social sustainability at every stage of the project and supply chain engagement to maximise opportunities to create positive impact and minimise whole life carbon in construction and use. Throughout the project’s delivery, ESG principles mirrored ‘Baytree Edge’ which is developer Baytree Logistics Properties’ philosophy to ensure positive action is always taken while also being prepared for disruptive change.
It also embodied its architects Chetwoods’ bespoke sustainability drivers and the firm’s ethos of architecture that always makes a positive impact, considers health and wellbeing and utilises the latest technology for good. The strategy to reduce the project’s environmental impact and embodied, operational, and whole life carbon emissions was considered from the outset, with intricate focus from the smallest details within the design and construction, looking at material choices, through to the overall holistic building methodologies.
Harnessing the power of robotics, AI, and state-of-the-art warehouse management systems, the completed project now offers unparalleled flexibility and supply chain control.
Automation and AI-driven decision-making have reduced the need for labour-intensive monitoring, empowering occupier Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK to optimise resources effectively.
