Our innovation revolutionises asparagus harvesting through a robotic arm equipped with an advanced end-effector.

By utilising passive cutting, we minimise bruising and crop degradation, thus preserving asparagus quality.

Not only does this solution reduce labour costs and crop wastage, but it also addresses key industry challenges, including water and nutrient loss, flavour reduction, and decay risk associated with bruised asparagus.

The design ensures consistent quality, increases efficiency, and offers scalability.

Unlike alternative solutions with complexities and potential points of failure, our cost-effective approach prioritises reliability while contributing to sustainability and reduced food waste.

Our journey began in 2020 as co-founders Robyn and David Sands embarked on a mission to revolutionise agricultural technology.

Fuelled by a commitment to address challenges in asparagus harvesting, we crafted an innovative robotic harvester.

Through collaboration with asparagus growers, we designed a unique end-effector that minimises crop damage while ensuring cutting efficiency.

We harnessed embedded distributed systems for adaptability and modularity, simplifying complexity while reducing points of failure.

Sustainability and practicality guided our choices, leading to an eco-friendly solution.

Our story reflects unwavering dedication, culminating in a ground-breaking innovation that shapes the future of agriculture, logistics and supply chain solutions.
