“Innovated” its Automotive Logistics Port Processing business, in response to severe global capacity constraints in the RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) marine vessel industry, which specializes in transporting OEM vehicles, High & Heavy cargos, and Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs).

To address this shortage, FAPS pivoted to a highly complex system using forty-foot standard sea containers for shipping new OEMs vehicles from Asia Pacific to North America.

This shift involved establishing a ground up comprehensive new system, including Loading Agents, 3PLs, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, seven Ocean Carriers, five Container Terminals (in the Port of New York and New Jersey), four Drayage Truck Carriers, and FAPS as the single Automotive Port Processing Company hub operation in continuance to the US & Canadian markets.

For fifteen months, this system has efficiently managed an average of 150 containers per day, six days a week, showcasing FAPS’s adaptability, excellence and logistical prowess in a challenging environment.
