Electricity North West

Electricity North West Limited (ENWL) is the distribution network operator for the North West of England.

ENWL’s partner, TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), provides bespoke supply chain services including procurement, supplier management, master data management, inventory management, storage facilities, packaging, transport management, and logistics.

Since 2014, TVS SCS has been ENWL’s supply chain partner.

TVS SCS has deployed multiple modules of its in-house IT system, ‘Msys’, to digitally transform ENWL’s ordering processes, inventory management, visibility of the supply chain, demand forecasting and reporting.

TVS SCS and ENWL have worked collaboratively to implement innovative projects underpinned by unique software solutions, such as the provision of strategic storm stock in key locations, which have transformed ENWL’s approach to emergency response.

This transformation project, now in its second eight-year contract term, has delivered tangible benefits of over £1.5 million to ENWL, and increased availability of product to 99.61%.

This means that ENWL is able to react faster in the event of power outages and provide an excellent service level to its customers.
